About
Our Madison, Wisconsin facility is looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our logistics team. In this role, you will perform a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring products are handled with care and accuracy. This position involves physical activity and a dedication to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You'll be a key player in our supply chain, supporting our commitment to delivering quality products to our customers. We value a proactive approach and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise accurately into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately using order pick lists or scanners.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks as needed (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles is beneficial.
