About
We are looking for a diligent and organized Receiving Clerk to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of goods into our warehouse. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing all incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation, and maintaining organized records. Key tasks include unloading deliveries, inspecting items for quality and quantity, and promptly entering data into our inventory system. Maintaining a tidy and safe receiving area is also a crucial part of your daily responsibilities. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient logistics operations. Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and a strong commitment to Safety are essential. You must be diligent in using the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your well-being and that of your colleagues. The role may require some moderate Lifting, so physical capability is necessary. Effective communication with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments is expected. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload all incoming merchandise
- Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Inspect products for damage or defects
- Accurately record received goods in the inventory system
- Stage items for put-away or distribution
- Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors
- Follow all company Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE
- Communicate effectively with carriers and internal teams
- Support overall warehouse logistics efficiency
