We are looking for skilled operators to safely and efficiently maneuver our reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve inventory. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our facility and ensuring accurate inventory management. You will be responsible for operating specialized equipment, adhering to strict Safety guidelines, and contributing to the overall productivity of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from racking systems.
- Ensure accurate placement of products within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE , including safety glasses and appropriate footwear.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Support the overall Logistics team and contribute to operational efficiency.
- This role requires operating specialized equipment and potential manual Lifting when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid certification or proven training in operating reach trucks.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures for operating heavy machinery.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with Logistics processes is beneficial.
