Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth flow of our supply chain and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational efficiency. We emphasize a strong safety culture, and all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols. This position involves frequent Lifting of materials, so physical stamina is necessary. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Receive and dispatch goods, ensuring accuracy in counts and destinations.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment checks to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE at all times during operation.
- Support team efforts in achieving daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Certification for forklift operation.
- Demonstrated ability to handle heavy Lifting tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Commitment to Safety in all aspects of the job.
- Effective communication skills.
- Understanding of logistics principles.
