Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will oversee project timelines, coordinate between stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of construction projects. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in construction management software, and a solid understanding of construction processes and schematics. The Project Coordinator will play a vital role in maintaining project schedules, managing documentation, and supporting project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
- Coordinate project activities across teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support project planning and execution.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including estimates, change orders, and progress reports.
- Utilize Bluebeam and Civil 3D for plan review, markup, and collaboration on design documents.
- Support construction estimating processes by gathering data and preparing cost analyses.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure milestones are met; escalate issues as needed.
- Assist with resource allocation, procurement schedules, and tracking project budgets.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review progress, address issues, and update project plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry or related fields.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of blueprints reading, schematics, Civil 3D, and construction estimating techniques.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document review and markup processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with construction management practices including safety protocols and quality assurance is preferred. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
