We are seeking a motivated and design-driven UI/UX Apprentice to join our team .
This is a hands-on learning opportunity ideal for recent graduates who want to blend learning with real-world product creation — designing interfaces for an AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS) used by engineers and innovators worldwide.
The apprenticeship is
unpaid
, hybrid, and offers direct mentorship from LunarTech's product and engineering teams focused on learning, career coaching and working on real deep tech products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for LunarTech's LMS
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to turn complex learning workflows into intuitive interfaces
- Support the creation of scalable design systems and reusable UI components
- Participate in usability testing, feedback sessions, and design iteration cycles
- Help refine the visual identity and design consistency across the platform
- Learn how AI-driven personalization shapes modern UX in education
- Contribute to real product sprints and review sessions with the design team
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles, wireframing, and user research
- Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools
- Understanding of responsive design and component-based workflows
- Curiosity about AI, human-centered design, and digital learning platforms
- Good communication, teamwork, and self-organization skills
- Bonus: Exposure to HTML/CSS or basic frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Bonus: Experience creating or improving learning or productivity interfaces
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Design, Computer Science, or related field
- Demonstrated interest in UI/UX through projects, coursework, or personal work
- Ability to think visually and communicate ideas clearly
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, product-focused environment
