Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst / Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and IT partners, gather and analyze client requirements, and recommend effective solutions. This role involves documenting workflows, leading stakeholder meetings, and supporting the design and implementation of complex IT solutions within an Agile environment
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Location is CAD $110k – CAD $115k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role - Service Owner
Responsibilities:
- Experience evaluating policies, programs, and initiatives using program development principles.
- Proven project management experience.
- Skilled in leading and facilitating stakeholder meetings across various levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design creative solutions.
- Excellent business writing, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Experience with change management.
- Knowledge of Alberta's registry systems is an asset.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in coordinating with business, IT partners, and subject matter experts to gather and analyze client requirements and recommend solutions.
- Strong experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows.
- Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills.
- Background in designing, developing, and implementing complex IT solutions.
- Experience working within an Agile development environment.
- Product Owner certification such as CSPO or PSPO.
Preferred, but not required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
