Lead the execution and communication of data engineering plans based on emerging data strategy and support end user needs for reporting, dashboards and ad-hoc analyses. Translate enterprise requirements into high-performance architectural models. Understand current state architecture and prioritize problems and actions. Inventory current state and define future state contributing data sources, technologies, interfaces, performance issues and system configurations. Design and analyze data models, data flows, and integration patterns for structural soundness. Create and review logical entities and define their attributes and relationships between the various data objects. Document and maintain a comprehensive enterprise data dictionary to ensure complete, accurate, and valid data and reporting is used consistently throughout the organization. Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouses and customer data platforms. Optimize data pipelines, architectures, and data sets. Job in Denver, CO. (Allows for 100% remote work from anywhere in the U.S.). Offered Wage: $94,500 to $112,500/yr. Standard Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Offered. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Architecture or related and three (3) years of progressive experience in Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related, and three (3) years of experience in enterprise level analytics implementation. Demonstrated experience designing and developing Big Data solutions on cloud platforms. Experience in at least one of the following modern programming languages: Python, Scala or Spark. Experience with database tech including SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra). Experience with data visualization tools. Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
