About
The Radiologic Technologist is an experienced Technologist who completes a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures to include X-ray, OR and CT exams of moderate to high complexity utilizing digital radiography. A member of the direct patient care team is fully competent in all aspects of various radiology procedures. Works independently exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations. Provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic procedures. Delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines established by radiology agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service. In addition, the position requires the individual to oversee the department in the absence of the Director and to be responsible for specific areas of instruction with students and ancillary personnel. As a night shift tech, working with the ER staff would be required including, helping where needed and performing all EKG’s ordered. The radiology department functions are carried out according to hospital policy, the hospital mission statement, and the philosophy of the Department of Radiology.
*Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology Technology with a license of:
* American Registry of Radiology Technologist
* Medical Radiology Technologist
* Associates Degree preferred
* CPR Certification
* Experienced preferred
*Schedule:*
* 3–12-hour shifts Sun, Mon & Tues or Wed, Thurs. & Friday with the schedule switching every 6 weeks
* One Saturday shift per month, on-call
