Job Summary:
Our growing logistics operation in Raleigh, North Carolina is looking for a diligent Inventory Control Specialist to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your primary duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to ensure stock levels are precise. You will utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements, manage stock locations, and generate reports. A keen eye for detail and a systematic approach are essential for success. This position requires close collaboration with receiving, picking, and shipping departments to ensure seamless operations. You will play a key part in optimizing our inventory processes, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency within the supply chain. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Manage and update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points, coordinating with procurement.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory throughout the warehouse.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and reduce loss.
  • Assist in the receiving and put-away processes, ensuring accurate recording of incoming goods.
  • Generate inventory reports for management.
  • Adhere to all Safety and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform Lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
