Backend Ruby on Rails Developer

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE The client are a well-established e-commerce company based in France that holds a large stake-hold in their market. This is a really cool client - they don't do pointless meetings, they have a fix it don't just cover the cracks mantra, and they eyeing up some serious growth plans! I work with a lot of clients, this one always leaves a great impression on all candidates, even those that are successful in the process. I've placed 2 developers there - both have stayed 4 years + and are still there. The Role: Greenfield development Identify, communicate the root cause of problems – to then establish better solutions. Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app. PostgeSQL database and mobile apps. You?: A lover of the RoR stack – ideally with 4+ years Ruby on Rails experience. Strong English – written and verbal – must be proficient to work in this language. Must be able to work French hours +/- 2 hours. Interview: Meet with EM/CTO – chat through the role, the company and your background and experience. Technical coding challenge.
