- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Diploma in Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
- Or possess a compact license, per state board of nursing regulations
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all licensure requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking during each shift
- Must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform job duties
- Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire)
- May be required depending on unit/role:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. Program
- Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse (CPHON)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
- Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
- Relevant clinical experience preferred
- Specific experience requirements may vary by department or unit
- Education: BSN preferred
- Licensure: Multi-state or compact license preferred
- Experience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting
- Certifications: Additional certifications relevant to the unit or specialty
- Other: Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and professional development
