Job Title: Project Control Manager Location: East Europe (Croatia and Greece) Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Project Control Manager to join our clients Project Management Team, responsible for overseeing and managing the control functions of complex industrial projects in East Europe concerning CCSU. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects involving cement facilities retrofitting, carbon capture plants, jetty construction, and associated utilities. Key Responsibilities Project Controls & Execution Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools. Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). Monitor project progress, identify critical path activities, and implement recovery plans. Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure project milestones and objectives are met. Expedite deliverables and track schedule performance. Estimation & Cost Management Prepare and manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) estimations for projects. Monitor and control project budgets and forecasts. Analyze and report cost variances, recommending corrective measures. Oversee change order management and subcontractor variations. Produce periodic cost reports for internal and external stakeholders. Risk Management Identify and assess project risks; maintain and update risk registers. Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Ensure risk controls are implemented and monitored throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication Produce regular project control reports and presentations for internal and external audiences. Foster clear and effective communication across teams, subcontractors, vendors, and EU funding bodies. Participate in meetings with designers, vendors, and subcontractors at various locations. Project Scope Includes Technological Sections: Cement facility retrofitting, carbon capture plant, new jetty, and utilities (e.g., high-voltage substation, wastewater treatment, sea water treatment, and integration with existing systems). Control Disciplines: Estimation, scheduling, cost control, expediting, planning & progress measurement, project reporting, and risk management. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in project management and project controls within large-scale industrial EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environments. Advanced proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project). Strong expertise in estimation and cost control methodologies. Solid understanding of EPC contracts, project budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, and construction functions. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
