About
We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our vibrant logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in accurately retrieving products from our warehouse stock and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Success in this position requires a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will utilize scanning technology and work closely with other team members to ensure that orders are processed accurately and shipped in a timely manner. We pride ourselves on a safe, clean, and productive work environment, and expect all associates to actively contribute to maintaining these standards. Your role is critical to our overall fulfillment operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product identity and quantity against order requirements.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for transit.
- Apply appropriate shipping labels and documentation to outgoing packages.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding work area.
- Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including correct lifting techniques.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Communicate any issues, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety principles and practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
