Job Summary:
Join our thriving logistics operation in Miami, Florida, as a Material Handler! We are looking for diligent individuals to manage the flow of materials within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing various materials and products. You will operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure the efficient and safe movement of goods. A strong commitment to safety is essential, and you will be expected to follow all company safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently. The ideal candidate is a team player, physically fit, and possesses a keen eye for detail. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our overall logistics chain. We offer a dynamic work environment and opportunities for growth. Prior experience as a Material Handler is preferred, and forklift certification is a significant advantage. This role requires consistent lifting up to 60 lbs.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
  • Store materials in designated warehouse locations efficiently.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Transport materials to and from various points within the warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies, including the use of PPE.
  • Load materials onto trucks for shipment.
  • Follow instructions for proper material handling and storage.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Forklift certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly.
  • Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented with good communication abilities.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, and bend for extended periods.
