We are hiring Picker/Packers for our warehouse facility in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and efficiently preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package selected items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Print and apply shipping labels and other required documentation.
- Operate hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and stock is neatly stored.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as receiving or stocking.
- Contribute to efficient logistics and shipping operations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with scanners.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
