Job Summary:
Join our vibrant team as a Distribution Center Associate in Seattle, Washington. This position is critical to the seamless operation of our logistics network, involving a wide array of responsibilities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will be instrumental in ensuring that products move efficiently through our distribution center to reach our customers on time and in excellent condition. This role requires individuals who are physically adept, comfortable with regular lifting, and possess a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Store merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and organization.
  • Accurately pick products based on customer orders using scanners or pick lists.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
  • Prepare shipments for outbound transportation, ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and proficiently (certification may be required for some equipment).
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to 5S principles.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics role is highly desirable.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding and strict adherence to safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Proficiency with scanning technology and basic computer skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime, as needed.
