Responsibilities:
- Read order sheets or use handheld scanners to identify and locate products for customer orders.
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse storage locations.
- Verify product accuracy and quantity against order details.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning procedures.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate pallet jacks, order pickers, or other relevant equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet order fulfillment goals.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods, and perform lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding and adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
