This includes receiving incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Store merchandise in designated locations using proper handling techniques.
- Accurately pick items for orders and prepare them for packing.
- Pack orders with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular checks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any discrepancies or operational issues to supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines strictly.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic inventory control principles.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
