About
We are hiring motivated Distribution Center Associates for our facility in Tampa, Florida! This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. You will be involved in critical tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping a variety of products. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact our customer satisfaction and our overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and accurately stock incoming merchandise within the distribution center.
- Process customer orders by accurately picking and packing items.
- Utilize RF scanners and other technology to manage inventory and track order fulfillment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly packaged and labeled for transit.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, proficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering strictly to safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Follow all company guidelines and established logistics procedures.
- Ensure the correct and consistent use of all required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment is beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and minimize errors.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
