Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with shipping preparations, including labeling and staging of outbound freight.
- Support team members and contribute to overall team goals in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Must be capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE is crucial.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
