About
Our Phoenix, Arizona facility is looking for a skilled Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is essential for optimizing warehouse efficiency and minimizing stock discrepancies. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, and analyzing inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement. You will be a key player in ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and systems.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies with system records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory turnover, preventing stockouts and overstock situations.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend adjustments to purchasing or production.
- Manage the receiving, put-away, and replenishment processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as needed.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE.
- Must be comfortable with regular lifting of items up to 40 lbs and occasional heavier lifting.
