About
Our Provo, Utah distribution center is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our dedicated team. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout the warehouse, utilizing your expertise with specialized equipment. This role is critical to maintaining our inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations. We place a high emphasis on a secure and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks to safely move, stack, and retrieve palletized inventory.
- Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing transport vehicles.
- Stage products accurately for order fulfillment and shipping.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of reach trucks and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory placement and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse safety and operations.
- Properly wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid reach truck operator certification or license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required for other warehouse tasks.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and logistics best practices.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Excellent driving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
