We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in all aspects of material handling, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Responsibilities:
- Receiving and unloading incoming shipments accurately.
- Storing and organizing materials within the warehouse.
- Picking and preparing orders according to customer specifications.
- Packing items securely for shipment to prevent damage.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Conducting regular inventory checks and assisting with stock counts.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assisting with other general warehouse and logistics tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics.
