About
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring optimal efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to stringent Safety standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing inventory management, directing workflow, supervising and motivating warehouse personnel, and implementing process improvements. A key focus of this role is fostering a culture of safety, ensuring that all team members are well-trained in operational procedures and consistently utilize required PPE . This position requires a comprehensive understanding of Logistics and supply chain management principles, coupled with strong leadership capabilities. You will be involved in training new staff and ensuring that all team members are proficient in tasks which may involve significant Lifting and manual handling. We are looking for a proactive leader who can drive results and maintain high operational standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily operations.
- Oversee inventory control, accuracy, and storage.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies, emphasizing the correct use of PPE .
- Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Implement and enforce all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Plan and assign workloads to team members.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of Logistics operations.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts effectively.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and Logistics .
- Excellent understanding of workplace Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to train and develop staff effectively.
- Experience with WMS software is highly desirable.
- Capability to oversee tasks involving significant Lifting and physical exertion.
- Proficiency in ensuring adherence to PPE requirements.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
