Job Summary:
Our Nashville, Tennessee facility is looking for dedicated Material Handlers to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in the efficient movement of goods within the distribution center. This position is integral to our logistics chain, ensuring that materials are received, stored, and dispatched correctly. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and preparing materials for processing or shipment. A strong focus on Safety and the correct utilization of PPE is paramount. This role involves significant physical activity, including lifting and maneuvering materials, so a good level of physical fitness is required. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Move materials to and from storage areas and production areas.
  • Verify material counts and inspect for damage.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and reported for any maintenance needs.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Certification to operate specific material handling equipment may be required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding logistics environment.
