Are you a meticulous and organized individual? Our Chicago, Illinois facility is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing solutions to improve inventory accuracy. You will maintain detailed records of inventory levels, movements, and adjustments. This position involves working closely with receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment teams to ensure seamless logistics operations. A strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. You will be involved in identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommending actions. Adherence to safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is a must. While this role may involve some lifting of boxes and materials (up to 30 pounds), its primary focus is on data accuracy and process improvement.
