About
Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in Tampa, Florida! We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. As a Forklift Operator, you are critical to our daily logistics operations, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely within our warehouse. You will be responsible for inspecting your equipment, performing routine checks, and maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Your role is pivotal in the seamless functioning of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and pallets.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Stack and unstack pallets and merchandise.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Handle tasks that may require moderate to heavy Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
