Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels in our Orlando, Florida facility. This critical role ensures the integrity of our supply chain and supports efficient logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to optimize inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse and ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Work closely with operations and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Identify and report any potential issues related to inventory, including damages or obsolescence.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
  • Assist in the implementation of new inventory management technologies or systems.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
