Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to instructions.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Conduct inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Tasks may involve significant lifting and prolonged periods of standing and movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Experience operating various types of warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for the entire shift.
