This role is multifaceted, involving various tasks essential to the supply chain process, including order picking, packing, receiving, and stocking. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that goods are processed accurately and efficiently. Key responsibilities include utilizing RF scanners to locate and select items, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining inventory integrity. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all associates must adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and capacity for manual lifting. Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment as trained.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure all products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize required PPE consistently and correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and basic WMS is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
