Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity? Our facility in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced professional to operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are moved promptly and accurately to support production and shipping schedules. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures is paramount. You will be expected to perform pre-operation checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy is key. This position involves significant Lifting of materials and requires consistent use of appropriate PPE. Join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric, propane) to move materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport raw materials to production areas and finished goods to shipping docks.
- Stack and retrieve pallets and materials as required.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts; report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including strict adherence to PPE requirements.
- Follow directions from supervisors and coordinate with other warehouse staff.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of Safety protocols and accident prevention.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must wear required PPE at all times.
