Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our operations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and transferring inventory within the warehouse. Your role is crucial in maintaining the flow of materials and ensuring efficient operations. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence within our logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Stage materials for production or shipment.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies to and from designated areas.
  • Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper placement and stability.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock adjustments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all regulations.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
  • Perform other material handling duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience operating forklifts.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 60 lbs regularly.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
  • Excellent knowledge of industrial equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of workplace safety .
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
