Job Summary:
Are you looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This position is instrumental in the efficient flow of goods through our logistics hub. Responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing them for dispatch, and managing outbound shipments. You will work collaboratively with a team to ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently, meeting productivity targets. A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, coupled with strict adherence to safety protocols and the proper use of PPE, is essential. This role requires physical dexterity, a good eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. As a Distribution Center Associate, you are a key part of our supply chain, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We value teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately receive, identify, and unload shipments.
  • Sort and place received items into appropriate inventory locations.
  • Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking and packing items.
  • Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring all packaging and labeling requirements are met.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and proficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the distribution center.
  • Follow all company procedures and safety regulations diligently.
  • Utilize provided PPE as required by safety standards.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs will be required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
  • Ability to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of logistics operations.
  • Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to guidelines.
