Seeking a meticulous Picker/Packer to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product information and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for outgoing shipments.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking and reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and operational standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Contribute to overall team performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics processes.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE , including gloves and safety vests.
