Opportunity awaits in Houston, Texas for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist! We need a proactive individual to oversee and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory, which is crucial for our seamless logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing comprehensive physical inventories, and meticulously investigating and resolving any discrepancies found. You will also be tasked with managing and updating inventory data within our Warehouse Management System (WMS), identifying and segregating damaged or expired stock, and contributing to the development and implementation of enhanced inventory control procedures. Strict adherence to all safety protocols and the diligent use of appropriate PPE are non-negotiable. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader logistics team. Prior experience with inventory management software and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics are essential qualifications.
