We are hiring a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role is integral to our logistics operations, focusing on the efficient handling of goods within our distribution center. Your duties will encompass a range of activities including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Accurately store and organize inventory on shelves and in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders based on pick lists or RF scanner data.
- Stage outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, emphasizing safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Commitment to safety standards and the proper use of required PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is helpful.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to operational changes.
