We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor in Boise, Idaho. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring optimal performance of our logistics and inventory management functions. You will lead a team of dedicated warehouse professionals, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key responsibilities include managing receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes, while upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your commitment to safety is paramount; you will be tasked with ensuring strict adherence to all safety policies, proper usage of PPE, and conducting regular safety training sessions. You will also play a crucial role in performance evaluation, coaching, and professional development of your team members. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership acumen, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain and logistics operations. While some physical demands exist, your main focus will be on management and coordination, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds expected. Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and manage warehouse personnel to achieve operational goals.
- Direct and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy.
- Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the team.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for improvement.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts efficiently.
- Liaise with management and other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Maintain the physical security and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness in all warehouse processes.
