Job Summary:
Join our bustling warehouse in Portland, Oregon as a Warehouse Associate. We are looking for energetic and dependable individuals to support our daily operations. This role involves a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. You will play a key part in maintaining efficient workflow and ensuring that our inventory is handled correctly and safely. We are committed to providing a secure work environment, demanding strict compliance with all safety regulations and the proper utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE). Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unpack, and verify incoming merchandise against invoices.
  • Store goods in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory control measures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet operational goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
