Job Summary:
Our Austin, Texas facility is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of our inventory. This role is critical for maintaining accurate stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our supply chain. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and working to resolve issues that impact inventory accuracy. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is essential. We prioritize a safe working environment, requiring strict adherence to safety guidelines and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Your expertise will directly contribute to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory loss and damage.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to ensure efficient material flow.
  • Train and guide junior inventory staff on best practices.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure the correct usage of PPE by all personnel.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and other inventory management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and the use of PPE.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
