Our rapidly growing warehouse is seeking experienced operators to manage the flow of goods with precision and efficiency. As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in loading and unloading shipments, relocating inventory, and ensuring optimal storage within our facility. This role is key to our logistics operations, demanding a high level of responsibility and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety and report maintenance needs.
- Transport inventory accurately to designated storage areas or shipping docks.
- Assist in receiving and shipping operations, ensuring timely processing of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to meet productivity targets.
- Properly use all required PPE and follow all safety protocols.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse logistics.
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Thorough knowledge of safe forklift operating procedures and warehouse safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
