About
We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are received accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, inspecting incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and accurately documenting all received items in our system. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a smooth flow of goods into the warehouse. A strong understanding of receiving procedures and Logistics is beneficial. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to follow all Safety protocols and utilize the required PPE. This position may involve frequent Lifting and the operation of pallet jacks.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight from trucks.
- Inspect received goods for damages and verify quantities against shipping documents.
- Accurately document all incoming inventory in the warehouse management system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items to management.
- Organize and stage received goods for put-away.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use required PPE at all times during receiving operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and Logistics.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Commitment to Safety and workplace standards.
