We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our operations in Provo, Utah. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, leading a team of dedicated staff, and ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods. Your role is crucial to maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy in order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping. You will be expected to implement and enforce all company policies, particularly those related to workplace safety , ensuring all team members understand and utilize appropriate PPE . This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proven ability to motivate and develop your team. A deep understanding of logistics operations and warehouse management systems is essential. You will play a key part in optimizing workflows, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our supply chain. Responsibilities include training new hires, conducting performance evaluations, and managing schedules. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be necessary, but the primary focus is on supervision and management. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide warehouse staff in daily tasks.
- Ensure accurate and timely order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and cycle counts.
- Enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Ensure all employees use required PPE correctly.
- Train and mentor warehouse associates.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Manage the receiving and dispatch of goods.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics .
- Address and resolve any operational issues promptly.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role is required.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics .
- Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety .
- Proficiency in implementing and enforcing PPE usage policies.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
