Join our thriving logistics team as a Warehouse Associate in Columbus, Ohio! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support our warehousing operations. This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of our supply chain, involving a wide range of tasks from receiving and storing goods to preparing orders for dispatch. We provide ongoing training to ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively, including comprehensive instruction on the correct use of PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification and training provided).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular checks and participation in cycle counts.
- Prepare shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Contribute to team efforts and assist other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 pounds.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as required.
