Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to lead our operations in Indianapolis, Indiana. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management and logistics. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will oversee daily activities, manage inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving, and ensure the team adheres to all Safety standards. Your expertise in optimizing workflow and maintaining a secure environment, including the proper use of PPE, will be key to your success. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and accuracy within our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement inventory control measures.
  • Schedule and manage inbound and outbound logistics to meet operational demands.
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment proficiently.
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and Safety.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Commitment to upholding stringent Safety standards and ensuring proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
