We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care in our assisted living and home care settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing management, with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems, regulations, and best practices. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with medical standards, and the overall operational success of our nursing department.
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
* Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that enhance patient care quality.
* Supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
* Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with medical records requirements.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans for residents.
* Manage shift assignments effectively to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
* Provide guidance on best practices for hospice care and home health services.
* Stay updated on Medicare regulations and assist in maintaining compliance within the organization.
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork among nursing staff.
*Qualifications*
* Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
* Proven experience in assisted living, home care, or hospice care settings.
* Excellent understanding of Missouri assisted living regulations.
* Strong knowledge of physiology and healthcare systems.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
* Proficient in documentation review processes and medical record management.
* Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and regulations is highly desirable.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient-centered care.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments to enhance patient outcomes.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
