Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our advanced facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and systems. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and other automation equipment. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems is essential. Your commitment to Safety and preventative maintenance will directly impact our Logistics operations. We are looking for a problem-solver with excellent technical skills and a proactive approach to ensuring uptime and minimizing disruptions. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyor belts, sortation systems, and automated machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to identify root causes.
  • Install, test, and commission new equipment and system upgrades.
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer specifications and Safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to Logistics workflows.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergencies.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory management of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Conduct regular Safety checks on all machinery.
  • Understand the importance of equipment reliability for overall Logistics performance.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a relevant field is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, particularly in an automated warehouse or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to perform moderate Lifting and operate in various warehouse conditions.
