We are searching for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and manage inventory accuracy at our Durham, North Carolina distribution center. This critical role ensures that our stock levels are precise, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing warehouse operations. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records using our WMS. Your duties will include monitoring stock levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and participating in physical inventory counts. You will also work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure seamless material flow and accurate data entry. Safety is a top priority in our logistics environment; therefore, strict adherence to safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is required. This position may involve some lifting and the operation of warehouse equipment, though the primary focus is on accuracy and analysis. Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency with inventory management software are highly desirable. A background in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
