Open interviews: Tues, Weds, & Thurs for 2PM - 4PM come see us Requirements for: Must wear all required PPE (ex. bump caps, safety toe shoes, safety glasses) and other PPE items that situations, locations or tasks may dictate (ex. Masks, ear plugs, harness, gloves, aprons, etc.) Pass leader test. Pass color blindness test and vision screening. Successful interview. Physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of materials (25 - 35 lbs.) Walk, stand, lift, bend and reach regularly. Ability to obtain forklift and stand-up lift certification. Must be willing to work adjusted hours if necessary to complete task or to cover during absenteeism of other shifts. Prior computer skills preferred. Must be able to communicate clearly with direct reports and departments. Able to perform the essential functions of the QA Operator position. Able to perform the essential functions of the QA Leader position. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the daily lab functions, ensuring functional, dimensional and visual inspections are completed according to established procedures. Ensure that check sheets are completed accurately. Train new/current operators, ensuring each understands the proper methods, instructions, tool and procedures required for functional tests. Identify when errors are found and instruct operators in proper methods, ensuring that policies/procedures/testing methods are followed without fail. Develop training, toolboxes, etc. and perform compliance audits. Must be able to work overtime if required to fulfill task such as completing backtracking (customer protection). Oversee the QA lab not only in process flow, but to ensure company policies are followed and to report any policy breaks to superior immediately. Knowledge of backtracking procedure, recall procedure, reject tag procedure, quarantine area procedure, deviation procedures and IPP procedures. Understand proper method to fill out and employ all forms. Understand and maintain the calibrating tools and maintaining records, ensuring all tools in use are in compliance with calibration system requirements. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows and leads others in safety regulations. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
