BVT Truck & Trailer Repair, a division of Steve’s Livestock Transport, is a diverse mechanic shop specializing in repairs and maintenance for all types of trucks and trailers as well as custom aluminum fabrication. We have now grown into three locations to serve our customers in Blumenort and Brandon, MB as well as Red Deer, AB.
We are currently looking for a *Red Seal Truck Mechanic* to join our team in Blumenort, Manitoba. As a Red Seal Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of trucks. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our vehicles are in peak condition and comply with all safety and regulatory standards.
*YOUR ROLE*
· Day Shift
Wage: $36.23 - $40.25 for Journeyperson
$1/hour premium if certified in Cummins Engines, Detroit Engines, Vovlo or Paccar
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of trucks and heavy vehicles.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
· Conduct inspections to identify and address potential problems.
· Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to high standards and within timelines.
· Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections.
· Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
· Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.
*YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE*
* Red Seal Truck Mechanic certification
* Proven experience in truck maintenance and repair
* Strong diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Aluminum welding experience would be an asset
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Professional and detail-oriented
